Since I haven't updated in a few weeks, I wanted to post a few quick pictures. I've been traveling and swamped with work meetings for the last 3 weeks so I'm really looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday and some much needed down time. Miss Brianna has been on the move lately, though to answer the question everyone's been asking me, no she's not crawling. She has the great method of getting where she wants that involves rolling, sitting herself up, turning around and rolling some more. She could crawl if she wanted to but apparently, she likes the view from either her tummy or her back, as you'll see from some of the below pictures. There's just no way that she could have as much fun with her toys if she had to occupy her hands and feet with something as menial as crawling around on them!
Happy Girl!
Loves to push buttons!
Hmm, should I crawl to get to Daddy's jeans or not?
Nope, I'll roll to get there!
And then I'll roll back to my camera and take pictures of my feet!
All these pictures happened over the course of about 2-3 minutes so she was a very busy little girl! Even with her not crawling, nothing on the floor is safe from her so all the trash cans are put up, the cords put away and the carpet gets vacuumed a couple times a day because she always manages to find some little something that Moab's dragged in. She's yet to put anything gross in her mouth though I imagine its not far off.
She and Moab figured out a new game to play with me this weekend. Moab has a soft orange bone-shaped toy that he played with when he was a puppy. Every now and then, he drags it out of the bottom of his toy box. This weekend, he decided that Brianna needed to be involved in our game of fetch so instead of bringing it back to me to throw, he'd drop it right in front of her. She then would pick it up and hand it to me, and then I'd throw it across the room for him to fetch again. (Yes mom, I washed her hands when we were done before she could put them in her mouth.) He eventually got tired of this but it kept them both occupied for a few minutes. They have about the same attention span so both were ready to move on to something else. What that says about either one of them, I'm not really sure.
Anyway, that's about it for now. Time to get back to work ...
