2nd Round of Swim Lessons

Here's a clip from today's swim lessons at Emler.  Brianna did fantastic considering she missed last week and at the lesson before that, she wouldn't come anywhere close to doing the songs, activities, going under water or floating on her back.  Its amazing what a difference a few weeks makes!

Riding Her Tricycle

Brianna is finally tall enough to fit her little tricycle!  Of course, that's mean she's grown a couple inches since December but oh well....

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

On a health related note, its been a rough week for us.  We thought Brianna had hand, foot and mouth virus but after seeing a blister starting on her eye when she woke up this morning, I took her to the doctor.  He diagnosed her with Herpetic Gingivitis (I think...).  Basically, she has the virus that causes cold sores and this first eruption has left her with several sores around her mouth, one on her finger, one on her knee and her gums are highly inflamed.  Unfortunately, this means she will get cold sores off and on her entire life now but we're keeping things in perspective.  If that's the worst medical thing she ever has to tolerate, then that's really not so bad.  However, the doctor put her on an anti-herpes medicine to keep it from spreading to her eyes any worse.  Well, she now has 4 hives on her right leg so no more meds tonight until we know if its unrelated or an allergic reaction.  She doesn't seem bothered by them at all but we gave her some Benedryl just to be safe.  As you can see from the video, she's her normal crazy self tonight!

Bubbles!

Here's a video from yesterday of Brianna playing outside in the water and bubbles.  We tried going to the pool, but she didn't seem to like that idea very much.  Unfortunately, the adorable swimsuit my sister found for her must have been mislabeled so all she had to run around in was the bottoms.  The top was the same size as her swimsuit from last year!  We'll be making a trip to Target today to remedy that situation.  I'll also be posting up random pictures and stories over the weekend to catch everyone up on what's been going on in our lives but for now, enjoy!

This isn't the best video I've ever shot but, as I found out, its hard to balance a camera on an ottoman and have the end result turn out well, particularly with a dog running around, four guys going in and out of the garage and various mechanical sounds coming out of the jeep "work session" that was in progress.  The only reason its blog-worthy is because last night was the first time I got Brianna to start "walking" to me so of course, I have to share her accomplishments!

Hilarious video of Brianna and Justin making "pfft" noises back and forth to each other! I had the hardest time not laughing out loud while I was recording this ... enjoy!

Cute Video!

Here's a quick video of Brianna giggling! She loves to bounce, whether in a bouncy seat, our laps or just on the floor. She's pretty much sitting up on her own now, at least, when she's able to sit still she can sit up on her own. Its only when she's bouncing and wiggling that she hasn't figured out how to stay upright yet!
