Brianna is now happily napping in her crib, home again with mommy and daddy! We picked her up, brought her home and snuggled her till she was ready for naptime. I must say, it was easier than I thought it would be, probably because Justin was off today and did a great job keeping me distracted so I didn't dwell on it.
Miss Rose, the morning teacher, said Bree did really well today and was all smiles for her. Of course, there was too much going on in a new place for her to nap as well as she normally does at home but overall, it was a good first morning. Tomorrow, she'll stay till mid-afternoon, if I can make it that long without her. Justin and I don't want that first full day to be too unfamiliar for her so we feel easing her into a full day would be the best for her.
Thanks to everyone who sent me texts and phone calls this morning wishing us good luck and checking in. We appreciate all the support!

Awesome!! It is true that it's harder for us than it is for them. (Man is it hard though!!) Great job today you two!!
I'm sorry that you have to do this but unless one of us wins the lottery - I'm sorry that you have to do this! Bree will be fine - just cherish today and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Congrats of the success. I know it is hard leaving her!
